We met Tim earlier this year when he became involved in Second Chance Jobs in prison.

Tim is a skilled tradesman, and our Second Chance Jobs team introduced him to a supportive employer who gave him a job on release with the flexibility he needed to meet his parole obligations.

Tim’s next priority was finding an affordable place to live that was close to work, and he was able to achieve that goal with our support, even in the tight rental market. We were able to cover Tim’s bond and first month’s rent, and he now lives a tram ride away from his job – which he loves - and close to one of his children.

Tim needed help, and we were able to help him.
